Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando Proudly presents this 1955
Chevrolet 210 Supercharged Gasser. This track monster not only
gives you the tall stance of an unmistakably speedy style, but also
it has the dual-quad supercharged big block to make sure the car
lives up to its winner's circle image. A tri-five Chevy makes for a
great place to start for a powerful gasser build. This one really
gets the Tri-Five look right with bold paint to attract attention,
and proper side trim. But as a true gasser, you also need the right
elements of substance. That means eliminating the front bumper to
reduce weight and the high solid front axle. This one really loves
to know how mean it is from every angle with the big air grabber
sticking out of the hood, bright headers peeking out from within
the wheel well, and wheelie bars in the rear. The full black
interior looks nice against the red exterior. It's simple, clean,
and shows that there was a good investment in this low mileage
build. This was done to be a true competition machine, and so you
have a full race cage that also protected the fuel cell and battery
in the trunk. But it's also a thoughtful build, so the front
section has removable front bars to make it easier to get in and
out when you're more about the boulevard than the racetrack. The
classic dual cowl Chevy dash and metal flake steering wheel give
this some flair. But what you'll really love are the
competition-ready components, like Hurst shifter, full SunPro
auxiliary readouts, and SunPro tach mounted front and center on top
of the dash. The engine bay is filled with serious big block power.
After all, a 427 cubic-inch motor is usually the kind of
displacement that gives people the ultimate power advantage... and
that's just the base of this build! You have dual Holley
four-barrel carburetors feeding a 6-71 blower. And this is
supported by the right pieces, like aircraft-grade hose fittings, a
Milodon oil pan, and a large aluminum radiator. This absolutely
mighty motor exhales freely thought the headers on its way to the
very straight dual exhaust pipes. You take full control over this
full power package thanks to the four-speed manual transmission.
While wide Mickey Thompson ET Street rear tires keep the rubber on
the road, the upgraded front disc brakes help you keep it all under
control with ease. This 1955 Chevrolet 210 Gasser is for sale in
