Street Legal Performance (SLP) to develop a special variant of the
Firebird Formula, dubbed the SLP Firehawk. Firehawks were produced
from 1991 through 2002, and SLP was responsible for putting the
final touches on each one of them. This original Firehawk is car
number 0335 and is in great condition for being a quarter century
old. The paint is in very good shape, and aside from very minor
wear on the outside bolster of the driver's seat, one would be hard
pressed to gauge the "cosmetic age" of the car because it has been
so well cared for. The port fuel injected 350 CID LT1 V8 is backed
by a 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission, which has a
"performance" selector switch on the console (to allow for snappier
shifts during spirited driving). The transmission was rebuilt only
200 miles ago and has a 100,000-mile warranty, plus it has a new
torque converter and transmission cooler. A custom set of chromed
aluminum wheels are wrapped by 275/40R17 radials up front, and
315/35R18 out back. The stock Firehawk brakes are outfitted with
drilled rotors up front, and drilled/slotted rotors out back, which
really improve stopping power. Additional features and options on
