Bid on this and many other movie cars and museum props April 14 -
21 during our on-line, no reserve auction that will be held at
volocars.com. We simply have more items than space to display them.
Our loss is your gain!
Screen Used in "911" TV Series and the unreleased movie "Soggy
Bottom" starring Bradley Cooper.
This is one of the nicest Ferrari Daytona replica's we have seen.
We were recently contacted by one of the cars previous owner who
shared the cars history. The car was factory built Carl Roberts
Daytona and not a garage built kit. One unique feature to the
Roberts cars is the location of the gas tank behind the seats
allowing for full use of the trunk space. The car spent most of its
life in Florida and was sold only a few years ago to a hobbyist in
CA. After that it was sold to a picture car company who leased the
car out to both the "911" TV series and the upcoming movie "Soggy
Bottom" featuring Bradley Cooper. We purchased the car directly
from the picture car company.
This Daytona was built on a 1980 Corvette chassis but upgraded with
a late '80s TPI engine and a front mono-spring conversion for
better performance and handling. It features a full Ferrari style
interior including seats and dash. Has real knock off wire wheels.
For "Soggy Bottom" the car was given a very slick, bright red paint
job which has minimal flaws. Probably the nicest movie car paint
job I have seen! Has a recent black canvas top. Car is loaded with
all the typical Corvette options of the era.
This is being sold as-is in current condition. It is available for
viewing and inspection prior to the end of auction by appointment
seven days a week 10 - 5. Please do your due diligence prior to
bidding.
