Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1965
Chevrolet Corvette Coupe! Heading into the mid 60s Chevy was on a
hot streak! Corvette had been performing well, both on the track
and on paper. Recently off the successful and well received C1
design the C2 debuted in 1963 and the world was ready. The launch
of the C2 Sting Ray captivated America and nearly everybody was
itching to get behind the wheel of what would become one of the
most loved generations of the long running Corvette line!
Especially considering the C2s spanned from 1963-67. Speaking of
getting behind the wheel, now over 50 years removed you have the
same opportunity. Here we have a 1965 model. The white paint has a
little age on it but still looks good. Color really shows off the
bold lines of this Sting Ray. Interior is in good shape as well.
Red leather interior always complements a white exterior! Under the
hood is non original L75 327ci V8 throwing down 300hp! Power is
running to the ground through the believed original factory 4
speed. Frame off restoration was completed mid-2011. Believe this
was when it was repainted as well. Current owner has had it for
over 2.5 years, bought from a private owner out of Iowa. Only items
listed as not working are: driver side turn signal, tach,
speedometer and clock. There is just something about a C2 Corvette
that screams more than just being a cool classic, its legacy, its
driving American History today! Options on this Corvette are:
Leather Seats, Posi Traction, AM/FM Radio, Rally Wheels and Radial
Tires. This 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe is for sale in our
