is the 292ci V8 produced by Ford at 212 HP, and driving a 3 speed
synchromesh standard transmission. This is a 1957 non-porthole
Thunderbird. Portholes were an option, and if no porthole was
selected the top sported the T-Bird insignia in its' place. The
same style emblem that is on the steering wheel of Thunderbirds of
the era. With an abundance of classic Thunderbirds out there, it is
almost more rare to find one without a porthole making non
portholes that have the original top more collectable. This
Thunderbird does have the optional reverse light in the center of
the classic circular taillight, and the fender vent made popular
