Gateway Classic Cars Houston showroom is proud to offer this one of
a kind 1929 Ford Model A Tudor Sedan. This ALL STEEL 1929 Model A
Tudor Sedan is painted a gleaming black and sports some cool
magenta flames. According to the seller, this beast is powered by a
360 CID small block Chevy V8, which is backed by a 4-speed manual
transmission. This '29 Model A is a real blast to drive, and it's
definitely more fun than all those automatic transmission-equipped
restomodded Model A's out there. The V8 is topped by a set of
high-performance aluminum heads, and a Holley carb on an aluminum
intake, and has ceramic-coated headers and dual exhaust. Ignition
enhancement is courtesy of an MSD6A, MSD Blaster 2 coil, and fat
MSD plug wires. This black beauty is riding on a set of American
Racing aluminum mag wheels, which are wrapped by BF Goodrich Radial
T/A tires, sized P155/80R15 up front, and P265/60R16 out back. The
fat 265's out back provide both a proper hot rod stance, and plenty
of traction, but you can break them loose quickly if you want.
Should you find yourself a bit above the legal limit, the 4-wheel
disc brakes provide plenty of stopping power. A Corvette IRS rear
end with 4.11:1 gears provides much better handling than you'd
expect from a car of this vintage. There is lots of good-looking
chrome on this car, and it really pops against the dark paint. If
you find yourself needing some room for your friends' extra "carry
ons", there's a slick fold up chrome luggage rack at the rear.
Inside, you'll find a plush velour fabric interior with seating for
you and at least 3 guests. Drivers will appreciate the tilt
steering wheel on its shiny chrome column, and the thick
leather-wrapped billet aluminum steering wheel. Behind that wheel
is a genuine custom Wabbit's Wood dash, which looks great and will
last a long time. There are gauges for fuel, oil pressure, coolant
temp, and amps. The large tach and speedo are easy to read as well.
The tall Hurst shift lever falls easily to hand, making this a joy
to row through the gears. Custom glass etching adorns the rear
windows and back glass and add a cool vintage touch. A Kenwood
Excelon head unit provides AM/FM/XM Satellite radio and CD
capabilities, and a 3-outlet USB connector for your other
connectivity is just below the dash. Additional features and
options on this 1929 Ford Model A include Aluminum Wheels,
AM/FM/CD/XM Radio, Cloth Interior, Kill Switch, Radial Tires, Seat
Belts, and Tilt Steering Wheel. For more information on this 1929
