Meticulous nut and bolt, body off frame restoration. No expense was
spared, this car is exceptionally nice. It has a "day 2" theme with
vintage hot rod features like Stewart Warner gauges, Torque Thrust
wheels, stinger hood. It also has unique radio, lighter and heater
delete.
EXTERIOR: Gorgeous Garnet red. The fit and finishes are better then
new. The body is absolutely laser beam straight, every square inch.
There are no waves, damage, bubbles, cracks etc. The panels fit
square and flush. The doors open and close like new. It has
fiberglass stinger hood, the white stripe is painted on and smooth
to the touch. The paint is polished like a mirror from the rockers
to the roof. The jambs are painted just as slick. They have new
weather strips, window seals, sill plates and even the door
latches. Up front the grill, bumper, turn signals, bumper guards,
emblem are all pristine. It has T-3 reproduction headlights. On
each side the marker lights, emblems, door handles are new. The
stainless moldings around the windows are new. The windshield is
new. In back the tail lights, bumper, emblem and bumper gaurds are
new. It rolls and a brand new set of vintage style American Racing
Torque Thrust wheels and new reproduction Wide Oval Firestone
tires. They are so new they still have the nubs on the tread. They
are the new radials that look like bias plys.
INTERIOR: The parchment interior really makes it pop, when is the
last time you seen one? They didn't put white interiors in Novas,
it had to be custom ordered. I am sitting in the car right now and
it literally looks like every piece is new. I'm sitting on new firm
cushions. The seats have new upholstery, chrome trim and headrests.
The door panels are new with sparkling chrome, beautiful woodgrain
trim, new window cranks, handles and armrests. In front of me the
entire dash is restored. The metal is smooth satin black, new dash
pad is new. Lenses, speedometer, bezels are new. It has a very
unique heater and radio delete block off plates. No vents either.
It also has a cigarette lighter delete. Very cool vintage Stewart
Warner tachometer on the column with a matching set of SW oil and
water gauges below. It has a tilt column with a rosewood wheel.
Above me the dome light works, headliners is new and fits tight as
a drum, visors and mirror are new. Down on the floor it has new
carpet, GM seatbelts, reproduction mats and a Hurst 5-speed shifter
sticking out of the hump with a cueball knob.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has a 350 motor built to LT-1 specs. It has
the double hump heads, factory aluminum high rise intake and it's
dressed up with polished finned valve covers and a new dual snorkel
air cleaner. It's upgraded with a Sniper electronic fuel injection
and a set of ceramic coated long tube headers. It is absolutely
immaculate in this engine compartment. Every single component looks
brand new- alternator, brackets, hood hinges, wiring, master
cylinder etc. The wiper motor and washer bottle are new and all
hooked up. It has reproduction spring clamp battery cables on a
Delco battery. It runs cool with a new fan shroud, clutch fan and
aluminum radiator. All of the finishes are smooth and pristine.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The metal is absolutely immaculate, no signs of
any rust or repairs. It was neatly sprayed in a grey spatter
finish. The bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb are as glossy as
the car. It has new decals, trunk latch and weather strip.
UNDERSIDE: It looks pristine under this car. The body was off the
frame, every component is rebuilt and refinished. Up front has all
new bushings, center link, tie rods, ball joints, spindles, sway
bar etc. Upgraded Ridetech gas shocks. In back the suspension is
all new also including the springs, pads, bushings and hardware.
It's upgraded with tubular control arms and Fox gas shocks. It has
also been upgraded with a Wilwood brake system. Drilled and slotted
discs at all 4 corners. New hoses, lines and e-brake assembly. New
dual exhaust system with correct transverse muffler. New fuel
system including tank, lines, sending unit and straps. Looking up
at the motor it is still immaculate. A new Tremec 5-speed trans was
installed. New driveshaft and u-joints connect to a Ford 9 inch
with posi gears. The chassis is a smooth gloss black. The floors
are spotless metal with a smooth semigloss black finish.
This car will make you happy just knowing you have it. Peeking in
the garage will put a smile on your face, driving it will make you
feel like the luckiest person alive! The quality and the
combination of colors and features really make it special.
