Volkswagen Beetle. This is an iconic "Peoples Car" dating back to
the 1930's. Designed by Ferdinand Porsche, a car that was to be
affordable, practical and reliable. Built as a two-door rear
engine, inexpensive automobile for the masses. The Original Beetle
engine was only rated at 25hp, topping out at 40hp in the 1960's.
In 1949 the first Beetle hit the shores in the United States Beetle
sales grew buy hundreds of thousands by the 1960's. They still have
a cult following to this day. Our 1975 Volkswagen Beetle in a
tasteful medium blue with a light gray vinyl interior. A manual pop
up- sunroof has been installed for some fun in the sun. Under the
rear bonnet is a rebuilt 1600cc. 4cyl. , air cooled engine
producing 58 horsepower attached to a 4-speed manual transmission.
