Vehicle Description
1972 Chevrolet K10 Super Cheyenne 4X4 Pickup i have owned owned for
the last 7 years and have been upgrading the truck ever since I've
owned it. I have done so much to this truck it is going to take a
while for me to mention all that I've done but here it goes. It has
the original 350 engine that has 97,298 miles on the odometer. I
replaced the factory heads with a set of Edelbrock performer
aluminum heads. Put a new Edelbrock performer cam, lifter and push
rods. I put a set of aluminum full roller rocker arms. I pt an
Edelbrock double roller timing chain set on it. Also put a new
Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake and brand new Edelbrock 650
carburetor. It has an MSD aluminum distributor and MSD-6AL spark
box. It has a serpentine front accessory drive off a 1991 4.3
blazer. New alternator and power steering pump. And new radiator
cap It has stainless headers and 3" dual exhaust with Flowmaster
mufflers. It is tucked up in the frame real nice and turn downs in
front of the rearend. It sounds very tough. Has a really nice lope
to it. The transmission is a 700R4 automatic 4-speed. All I did to
it is replaced the fluid filter and pan gasket. It shifts great and
runs down the highway great! 2000 rpm at 65 mph. The transfer case
is a NP205. I pulled it and took it to a shop to have it checked
out and all the seals and gaskets replaced. Put new KYB shocks on
all four corners. It has new front and rear sway bars. Replaced the
master cylinder and power booster with aftermarket pieces. Rear
drum brakes are completely new. Wheel cylinders, drums, hardware and
shoes. The truck is a factory A/C truck. Everything is there but
the hoses. It has the newer much smaller style A/C compressor on it
but not hooked up. Inside the truck is super nice! Has the wood
style steering wheel and factory tach. Seat was recovered at some
point and very nice. Also a newer carpet. Just very clean inside.
