Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1965
Pontiac GTO! In 1963 Pontiac unveiled a car that would shake the
market to extent that it would be felt for years. Why? Because the
GTO is touted as being the first real muscle car to come into
existence and thus responsible for starting the muscle car wars
that would lead into the 1970s! Now you can have the car that
started it all! Here you have a 1965 GTO Sport Coupe. The vin and
cowl tag both show 23737 and cowl has 5NW on it. Approaching this
car, the hair on arms start to raise. The bold angles on this car!
The folks that designed it still to this day deserves a standing
ovation! The Sunset Orange exterior really shows off those muscular
lines and presents well for being near 10 years old. The black
vinyl interior is also in good shape. The Foose wheels ads a unique
look to the profile of the car. Do you have to ask what's powering
this legend? Well, a 389ci V8 of course, mated to a 3-speed
automatic that will set you off on your next adventure. Even if
that's just the next stop light! Current owner acquired it from a
man that had it for 30 years that got it from his own Father, the
original owner. Engine and trans were rebuilt around 25,000 miles
ago and runs and shifts smooth. This car has been verified through
PHS. Whether you are an avid collector or just beginning, the car
that started it all is a great addition or place to start! Options
