Vehicle Description
It's alright to stop and stare at this 1966 Chevrolet C10 pickup,
because we all will, too. That's what happens when you have a
terrific paintwork and an adjustable air ride suspension. Of
course, there's also the A/C interior, shining V8, and loads of
custom details, that make this an all-around stunner.
You know you'll love pulling up to a cruise in and watching jaws
drop as you drop your truck low to the ground. But a full
show-worthy package is more than just stance. There's a striking
shade of bold orange here that's a more modern application with a
quality look that you recognize in its sleekness and shine. And the
pearl white and metallic purple custom stripe package really gives
this a sports truck look. There are even cool details, like the
ghost C10 callouts on the bedsides and gold pinstripes on the hood.
It's all part of making a cut above classic with distinction. More
than just the paintwork, this truck is truly smooth with a shaved
door handles, deleted trim, flush roll pan, and the gas filler
integrated into the slats of the real-wood truck bed. The
brightwork that does remain is a mirror-like shine on the front
bumper and grille to make sure this has a true classic C10 look.
But even when the ride height this normal, the large side exhaust
pipes and large black alloys staggered at 18/20 front rear are
instant indicators at something far more custom.
The investments in a custom presentation continues inside. These
are often done with a thoughtful touch. For example, the bench seat
is upgraded to a split one with individual bolstering in the back
and a fold-down armrest for bucket-like comfort. But this update is
done in a classic tweed style for a vintage vibe, and the door
panels were even done to match. The tan carpeting and dash pad are
also fresher updates that go with this look. There are more
integrated upgrades, like the Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo with USB and
Bluetooth and a cold-blowing air conditioning system with modern
R134a refrigerant. The three-spoke sports steering wheel has hints
of the classic Chevy style, but now you get a nice wood rim and a
tilt column. And when you turn the key, the full Dakota Digital
gauge package really comes to life.
The engine bay continues the look of an impressive custom build.
The color-matched inner-fenders have a smooth look to funnel your
attention to the V8. It's a clean style that you don't always see,
because remember, many other low-ridding trucks often don't have
inner fenders because of the amount of suspension travel needed.
The 350 cubic-inch V8 has the look of a clean, polished, and
powerful motor. It's built with an Edelbrock four-barrel
carburetor, Vortec heads, and shorty headers feeding those side
pipes. And there are good supporting components, too, like the
upgraded pulleys and an aluminum radiator w/electric fan. The
three-speed automatic transmission feeds a 12-bolt rear end. Plus,
power steering, power brakes w/front discs, and the grip of nitro
sport tires make it easy to show this one off everywhere.
This is an awesome truck, and we even have the restoration photos,
build receipts, and maintenance receipts showing over $7k invested
in the last few years to make sure it stays that way. So if you
want for a total package that impresses for even more than just its
air ride stance, you know this C10 needs to be yours. Call
