Vehicle Description
1979 Chevrolet Blazer 350ci V8 - Automatic Transmission - US Mag
Wheels - Silver Paint with Ghost Flames (Please note: If you happen
to be viewing this vehicle on a website other than our main
website, it's possible that only some of our many photographs of
this car are presented due to website limitations. To be sure you
access all the photographs, please go to our main website: Garage
Kept Motors.) Lowered rather than lifted, this Blazer offers
something a little different than the ever popular lifted
Squarebodies that we see so often. You get a true sense of how
squared off the bodies are on this generation of Blazer, and how
wide they are when it's sitting so low. Here's your chance to see
how it feels to drive a vintage Blazer that has been brought closer
to terra firma rather than moved further away. This Blazer has
tough, yet simple looks thanks to the lower ride height and bigger
wheels. Ghost flames in pearl metallic that have been added to a
few places on the body add a little attitude. The body was
repainted at some point in the past, and most of the paint shows
well. The previous owner was choosy about how much trim was left on
the Blazer. As you can see in our photos, the side trim, and
tailgate trim and badging has been shaved giving a smoother overall
appearance. The chrome bumpers, eggcrate grille, headlights, and
turn signals are factory style units and are in great condition.
The wheels are 20-inch US Mags wrapped in sticky tires, which hide
disc brakes in the front and drum brakes in the rear. The interior
offers the usual layout that is expected in a K5 Blazer of this
generation. A pair of bucket seats with a large console, column
mounted shifter, angular dashboard, and rear bench. Under the hood
is a 350ci V8 mated to an automatic transmission. It sits in a tidy
engine bay and drives the rear wheels. If you're looking for a
vintage Blazer and prefer a low one rather than a lifted one, this
may be the one for you. Be sure to check out all the photos and
