For sale in our Chicago showroom is this stunning restomod 1940
Chevrolet Master Deluxe. Powering this Burnt Orange beauty is a
much newer Gen3 5.3l small block Chevrolet V8 paired with a 4-speed
automatic transmission. The goodies don't end there, however, as it
was also equipped with air-conditioning, a Mustang II style front
suspension, and a completely renovated interior. The restoration
finished about 5 years ago but has taken a number of years, and a
few owners, to complete. The fenders and running boards are
fiberglass, but the bulk of the body is original Chevy steel.
Though the paint was done some years ago, it still looks wet enough
to swim in. The windows have a slight tint and look sharp on this
modernized antique. The V8 has a Spectre short-ram intake and
tubular exhaust manifolds installed to give a bit more grunt from
factory. A 4-speed automatic gives a great balance of performance
for hot-rodding around and overdrive gearing for long hauls. A
10-bolt rear axle is strong enough to handle anything this torquey
engine can throw at it with ease. With gorgeous curves, thunderous
growls, and a comfy cabin, this '40 Chevy has it all. Options
include: Air-Conditioning, AM/FM/CD player, Power Brakes, Power
Steering, Tilt Steering Wheel, Vinyl Interior, Kill Switch, and
Alloy Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. For more information on this
