Low-mileage California female owned "grand touring" Jaguar XJS.
These 6-cylinder convertibles are the most sought after of the
entire XJS series. The car has some minor cosmetic flaws but is
mechanically sound after recent major tune up and new ECM
(electronic brain) and is priced to sell quickly. Zero rust or
pitting. Rear windows need regulators replaced. This car is in our
warehouse in Groveland - "Gateway to Yosemite".Jaguar released the
XJS coupe in 1976 as an evolution of the XKE breed as a true grand
tourer aimed more at comfort and cruising than spirited driving.
The XJS used aggressive lines with its most distinguishable feature
being its flying buttresses trailing from the roof to the
squared-off tail. The model was the first Jaguar not styled by
William Lyons and a convertible wasn't available until the model's
very end. This XJS benefited from Ford's ownership of Jaguar (1989)
that produced a higher build quality. And it benefits with the
option of a 4-liter 6-cylinder beginning in 1993. When the XJS was
discontinued in 1996 it was the longest-running Jaguar model ever
at 20 years.This XJS is equipped with Bosch-Lucas fuel injection a
four-speed Borg-Warner automatic transmission air conditioning
power steering and brakes leather heated seats wood trim and
anti-lock-brakes. 1993 was the first year that a 6-cylinder
convertible was offered providing greatly reduced
