Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa Florida is proud to offer this sharp
2009 Pontiac Solstice GXP Coupe! In many ways Pontiac was just
beginning to go through a renaissance when the plug was pulled and
GM shuttered Pontiac's doors. A great example of this is the
Pontiac Kappa platform. The Solstice was originally a design
exercise authorized by Bob Lutz to generate excitement and show
Pontiac was heading in a new direction. To GM's surprise the car
proved so popular that - like the 1952 Corvette - GM decided to put
one into production. GM developed a brand-new bespoke hydro-formed
chassis, and it was shared with the Saturn Sky to help recoup cost.
This black-on-black Solstice GXP coupe is very special. It is one
of only 1266 Solstice GXP Coupes ever built and has been well
maintained! Can you say RARE! Never mind the exclusivity of this
car, but it's a low mileage example as well, turning only 41,000+
miles since leaving the factory. Being a GXP, the car was ordered
with the 260hp Ecotec 4 and is mated to the original 5-speed
automatic transmission. The car even comes well equipped with air
conditioning, an AM/FM/Cd payer, cruise control, GPS ready, power
brakes, power steering, power locks, power windows, power mirrors,
anti-lock brakes, seat belts, driver/passenger airbag, tilt
steering wheel, leather interior, etc. This GXP is one of the rare
sports cars that drives like it looks! An aggressive curb appeal,
hyper-nimble, go-kart for the street. It is responsive, quick to
change direction, and in our opinion accelerates like a sling shot
thanks to the responsive turbo motor. To see 100+ HD pictures and
