Ford Fairlane Galaxie 500! 1959 Was the first year that Ford added
the Galaxie into the lineup as the top trim level of the Fairlane
500. The name was selected because of the times. These were
exciting times and Ford wanted to tie in the allure of the Space
Race that had Americans full of wonder. This example is wrapped in
Coral and White paint. The gorgeous interior is Coral, White and
Black and looks fantastic. As you walk around the car and upon
closer inspection you can see the paint is older, worn and faded in
many spots but yet still has a uniqueness to it. The black 18x7 &
20x9 wheels really complements the interior, it's a nice balance.
As you really step back and take this care in it has a great stance
and a nice presence. Open the door, sit inside and grasp that
steering wheel! It evokes a nostalgia that you simply cannot
replicate. Under the hood is a 332 ci v8 that puts power down
through a c6 3-speed automatic transmission. Not ready to send this
Galaxie into orbit? No problem, stepping up to help bring this Ford
back down to earth are Wilwood power disc brakes. This Galaxie is a
