Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is excited to offer this
fun, 1990 Mazda RX7 Convertible, V8 conversion! Here is an
inexpensive little hotrod that packs a nice surprise and punch- a
302 Ford V8, stuffed neatly where the original rotary motor
resided, making it a true sleeper. It looks stock outside, but
packs a punch the 'lil rotary never had. The exterior is in nice
shape, with a high-gloss red, black power convertible top and rear
spoiler. The 302 Ford sounds tough, but not obnoxious, making it a
pleasant cruiser. It features custom headers, dual exhaust, and a
vacuum secondary Holley carburetor for smooth gear transitions. But
don't get us wrong, it hollers when prodded, with a side effect
being big grins and thumbs up! A posi-traction rear helps gets the
torque to the road. "Granny's Speed shop" provides the conversion
kits for RX7's. Yes, for under $17K, you can have a car that sounds
and performs along the lines of a more expensive roadster, without
the steep price. You can have fun with this one! The interior looks
good overall, and aside from the normal wear and tear of a
30-year-old car, it is still presentable, and comfortable. Power
steering & power brakes help tame the driving effort, and a tilt
wheel, power mirrors and power windows add a bit of luxury. Drop
the top, find your tunes on the Pioneer stereo, and enjoy. This
1990 Mazda RX7 Convertible V8 conversion is available at the Fort
Lauderdale location. To view the car in greater detail, including
