Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is presenting a nostalgic 60's
Race Car "No Deposit No Return" a 1968 AMC AMX. Nationally well
known as a race car and a Concourse winner at the AMO event in
Gettysburg Pa. This car has had numerous articles written about it.
Built and raced in the late 60's this car made its way to a barn
where it rested for 34 years. In 2005 the car was found and brought
back to life. Original paint with 60's style spider webbing and
Black interior. The 401 AMC block has been bored and stroked to 424
CI and approximately 500 HP. Edelbrock heads and an Edelbrock
Torquer intake with a 950 CFM Holley double pumper to provide
plenty of fuel. The ignition is MSD electronic. The transmission is
a 727 Mopar with a 2700 stall converter with gear vender three
speed over and under. Everything is kept cool by two electric fans
and an electric water pump. The rear is Daytona style with inner
pinion bearing support and 4:10 gears with a Detroit Locker set up,
Strange axels and leaf springs. The car has Disc brakes on all four
corners. Other highlights include, Line Lock, Ceramic coated
headers with a full 3-inch exhaust with electric cutouts and a 15
gallon fuel cell. Mickey Thompson front tires and Slicks in the
