Vehicle Description
1955 Chevrolet Bel Air that is an excellent example of a true
American classic. It has been professionally restored back to a
better than factory condition. This 55' Bel Air is powered by what
is believed to be a rebuilt '69 350 block that is from a 1969
Camaro with a 4-speed Automatic transmission. The transmission
shifts easily and the torquey 350 sounds as smooth as it should
with a nice mild cam and Gear Drive that pulls it around with the
kind of enthusiasm you'd expect from a Bel Air with dual exhaust.
With only 86,773 miles on the car, the rebuilt engine was refreshed
with gaskets, and seals and a full clean up to be ready for show,
and it runs great - this is not your run-of-the-mill trailer queen.
The exterior of this car is solid. The fenders and panels are
smooth with nice contours and crisp lines. Both doors open and
close as they should with no issues. Jumping to the trunk you will
notice the addition of a full custom box covered in matching tan
carpet. The underside of the trunk lid has been painted with the
same amount of detail that the rest of the car was done in! The
frame and undercarriage is solid with no issues. Jumping under the
car you will also notice CLEAN pans and frame rails! Just as
gorgeous as the exterior, the interior has a clean and beautiful
tan vinyl and cloth bench-seat interior and matching door panels.
The dash has been painted to match the exterior and features a red
steering wheel, nice chrome, and in-dash AM/FM Pioneer Radio. Lots
of fun to drive and eye-catching to boot. If you want a nice 55'
Chevrolet Bel Air to drive, this might be it, all at a price that's
a fraction of the cost to get it there! Please Note The Following
