Exceptionally clean and extra attractive. The stance and colors
really make the 56 stand out. Upgraded with air conditioning and
power disc brakes.
EXTERIOR: It certainly has a look. It's dropped down on some big
wheels and the colors really pop. I went around this whole car and
the body is smooth and fits very nicely. It's very straight, I
don't see any rust or damage. The paint is polished out like a
mirror, even the white has a glass finish. It appears that every
single piece of stainless and chrome has been redone or replaced.
All the moldings are shiny and straight. The tail lights sparkle,
the grill bumpers, mirror, hood ornament all look beautiful. The
jambs are painted real nice, has new weather strips and window
fuzzies. The glass is clear all the way around. It rolls on 18 inch
Coy's wheels with performance tires.
INTERIOR: Inside the car is really nice. It's the same beautiful
turquoise and white combination. Reproduction upholstery and door
panels. All the metal is painted slick and glossy. All the knobs
and hardware is excellent. On the floor is the correct tight loop
carpet with reproduction mats. It has seat belts in back for the
grandkids. There is a retro stereo and turquoise 6x9 speakers in
back. The air conditioning controls are in the factory location and
the vents are neatly installed under the dash.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The engine bay is all painted the same glossy
turquoise color. It has the original 265 motor that's been rebuilt
and it is upgraded with an Edelbrock intake and chrome plated
Edelbrock carb with electric choke. It has a new MSD ignition
system with a billet distributor. The motor is painted the same
turquoise. In front it has the aluminum pulleys with the serpentine
belt system. It also has billet brackets, aluminum alternator and
air conditioner compressor. It runs cool with an aluminum polished
radiator and overflow bottle. It has an upgraded electronic wiper
motor, it also has upgraded power brake booster and dual reservoir
master cylinder.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: All clean metal painted white, has the new
rubber mat. It also has a white wall spare tire and the jack
assembly. The battery has been relocated to the trunk. The latches
are cleaned up, the paint is glossy.
UNDERSIDE: The front end is all rebuilt and upgraded with tubular
control arms, drop spindles and new shocks. In back it has lowering
blocks and new shocks. New fuel system- tank, sending unit and
straps. New dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. Looking
up at the motor it's painted the color of the car, the fuel pump is
new. It has an original Powerglide automatic trans. The brakes were
redone and upgraded to disc in front. The e-brake cables are hooked
up. The floors, braces and frame rails look solid.
I like this one. Inside and out it is beautiful, the quality is
impressive and the car is a turn key driver. Its ready to be
enjoyed immediately!
