Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this 1964 Ford
Galaxie 500 Convertible. The Galaxie name was used on Ford's
full-size cars from 59 to 61 to try and cash in on the excitement
of the space race. Starting in 1962 they added the 500 and 500 XL
to the name plate in order to denote its top of the line cars.
Competing head to head with Chevrolet's Impala SS's, the full-size
convertible market was very tough but the Ford held their own all
the way to 1974 when the line was finally discontinued. This beauty
is a great example of what the 60's were all about. Finished in a
bright red paint job standing on American Racing wheels this
Galaxie 500 drop top is truly a sight to behold. The black interior
welcomes you with a front bench seat that is fit for all occasions
and the 4 speed floor shifter makes you feel like a racecar driver!
The power top folds down with ease and makes sure you are ready for
any type of weather. Under the hood is a heart pounding 390 Cubic
inch V8 and is paired to a 4 speed manual. With its 3.50 rear end
just imagine how this car can get up and go! If you're looking for
a thrilling example of an American icon this is the one you want to
own! Options include power top, power steering, and aluminum wheels
wrapped in radial tires. This 1966 Ford Mustang is for sale in our
