This 1995 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra R is in excellent shape with only
41000 on the odometer. Let's recap what makes the Mustang SVT Cobra
R special. It was an even higher-performance version of the Mustang
SVT Cobra, which employed a larger 5.8-liter Windsor V8 engine
compared to the 5.0-liter engine in the non-R Cobra. The Cobra R
made 300 horsepower and 365 lb-ft of torque, which were pretty
impressive numbers for a Mustang in 1995. Each Cobra R was equipped
with a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission, upgraded suspension, and
a more robust cooling system than the regular SVT Cobra. Every 1995
Cobra R had the same color scheme of white exterior paint and a
beige interior -- a surprisingly bland color palette for such an
extreme performance car. Several weight-saving measures were taken
to make the Cobra R even faster and more track-ready. It had no
back seat, no radio, no air conditioning( Both added back to this
example), no power windows, no power seats, and less sound
deadening material. Even the fog lights were removed, not only for
weight savings but to create two air ducts that assist in cooling
the front brakes. Heavy-duty progressive-rate springs, thicker
stabilizer bars, and a front strut tower brace helped improve
handling on the race track. Only 250 examples of the 1995 Mustang
SVT Cobra R were built, and this one is number 145. It has been
extremely well-preserved and garage-kept. You get all of the
