became the signature of performance on many models and often
featured special trim and appearance details in addition to the
power and handling upgrades. Super Sport received handsome new
bodies with a pronounced "Coke bottle" fender treatment. The
signature triple tail lights from the 1964 Impala were repeated for
1965, but the X-frame was abandoned in favor of a perimeter frame.
Power is supplied by a matching numbers 327 cubic inch V8 mated to
a 2-Speed power glide automatic transmission. With only 30 miles
since a fresh motor rebuild, the nostalgic muscle car appearance is
reflected in the Madera Maroon paint color, slick black interior,
