Ours is decked out in bright red paint with wide racy stripes and special SS badging, functional forced-air induction hood scoop, blacked out front grill, an SS-only rear spoiler adorns the back deck, and the power black convertible top as well.
An SS Performance/Appearance Package ups the 5.7-Liter LS1 Pushrod V8 engine horsepower to 325 with the torque @ 340 Lb Feet thanks in part to forced-air induction and a wide-mouth, low restriction, dual-outlet exhaust giving it great EPA Mileage of 18 MPG City and 25 MPG on the highway.
It has big 17-inch aluminum wheels shod with enormous P275/40ZR17 speed-rated Goodyear Eagle F1 tires are mounted on the corners. They complement a High-Performance Ride and Handling Package that further stiffens the Z28 suspension with beefier shock, power steering and disc brakes, spring rates, and anti-lock brakes were standard equipment on all Camaros.
The interior is all like new with the SS 35th Anniversary theme stitched on the headrests of the two-tone grey power bucket seats, with matching door panels, console, entertainment center, and a plethora of other parts like power windows, power locks, remote mirrors, air conditioning, adjustable steering wheel, cruise control, gauge package, automatic shifter inside the console, tinted windows, and a remote truck release.
