Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this sharp 1973
Dodge Challenger. Introduced for the 1969 model year, the
Challenger was produced to compete with other upper-level pony cars
such as the Mercury Cougar which had grown exponentially in
popularity through the final half of the 1960s. This '73 has been
enjoyed by only two owners during its life and the current owner
for the past almost 40 years. Painted in a sharp gloss red with a
white vinyl top and chrome trim, this Challenger appears as it
would have back in the '70s. Powering this Challenger is claimed by
its owner to be the original numbers matching 318 CID V8 engine and
mated to the factory 3-speed automatic transmission with a slap
shift option. Under the hood appears to look all original,
unmolested, and well maintained. This car features the original
styled R12 A/C system and should be upgraded to the modern R134a
for optimum cold air, power steering, and even has power brakes.
This car is set up to be a comfortable driver! The interior flows
well with the exterior, featuring white vinyl sport bucket seats,
seat belts, and even an AM/FM radio. If you are a MOPAR collector
or simply just want heads to turn when you cruise by, this could be
the perfect American Muscle option for you. This 1973 Dodge
Challenger is for sale by our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in
