Here is a Ford - Shay 1929 Model A Roadster Deluxe Cabriolet Replica from 1980. The Shay's were produced from Ford parts and sold off their showroom floor. It carried a Ford Warranty, since they used new Ford drivetrain and suspension components at the time. This Model A comes powered with a 2.3L Ford 4 cylinder motor, paired with a 4 speed manual transmission, rack & pinion steering, Mustang II independent coil-over-shock front end, disc brakes, AM/FM CD, and a Rumble seat. It also carries a large trunk on a retractable/removable rack. The two spare tires makes it the “deluxe” model. The paint is driver quality but going down the road this one is definitely a head turner. Especially when honking the loud AAAUUUGGGHHHAAA horn. Other benefits are that it's easy to start and drive, gets down today's’ modern day roads safely; no shifting-double clutching or carb adjusting, and mechanical parts can be sourced from the local auto parts store cheaply. This is a great running and driving Ford Model A.
