Real Lucerne blue Trans Am documented by Pontiac Historical
Society. Recent rotisserie restoration with some pro touring
upgrades. A tall pile of receipts and the Pontiac Historical
documents will be included. It was a Texas car and appears to have
really clean metal.
EXTERIOR: The body is very clean and straight. It is smooth even
along the bottom, no bubbles. The wheel well lips still have the
factory dimples. The panels fit square and flush. It was completely
repainted it's original Lucerne blue color. The metal flake is laid
out nice and the clear coat is polished smooth and glossy. New
decal stripes look new. The shaker scoop is excellent, it has the
flapper door. The glass is all excellent. The jambs are painted
real nice, has new weather strips and window seals. The wheels are
American Racing 17 inch in front and 18s in back. They are wrapped
in Nitto Extreme ZR performance tires. The headlights are upgraded
with multi color LEDs. The taillights are LED. It also has a
keyless entry with remote power locks.
INTERIOR: Very nicely done custom interior. New leather sport seats
will hold you in place as you're carving up the curves. The rear
seat is upholstered in matching leather. The door panels are custom
made with three tone colors that match the outside. They have built
in speakers and new door handles. All the plastic trim is pristine.
The headliner is custom made in the reverse color pattern to the
hood stripe. It has a new LED dome light, visors are redone and it
has a new mirror. On the floor it has new center console and
carpet. It was given a power window conversion. It also has a
stereo system with a Retro stereo that looks like an AM radio but
is digital, has Bluetooth and handsfree. There is an amp,
subwoofer, 6 inch round door speakers and 6x9s in back. It has the
factory gauge package with tachometer and the clock is converted to
quartz. The machine turned instrument panel is good original. It
has a blue LED interior light kit. There are too many things to
list. The receipts show everything from heater cable, cigarette
lighter unit, circuit board, dome light and much more.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It is completely rebuilt and detailed. Upgraded
with a performance built 455. It has Comp cam, H-beam rods, Doug's
headers, and on top it has an Edelbrock intake with FAST fuel
injection and MSD ignition system. It is dressed up with cast
aluminum valve covers. The front of the motor has billet brackets
and pulleys with serpentine belt system. New alternator. The air
conditioning system is new from Classic Auto Air. The power brake
system is new with cadmium plated booster. There is a new aluminium
water pump, the fan shroud looks new. The wiring is tidy, battery
is bolted down and has new cables. The metal surfaces are all
painted smooth.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The truck has been boxed and carpeted very
nicely. The bottom of the trunk lid and jamb were repainted blue.
It has new weatherstrip. There is a rally ll wheel for a spare.
UNDERSIDE: The body was removed from the subframe and the entire
bottom of this car is restored and detailed. The front end is all
new including bushings, springs, shocks, ball joints etc. It is
upgraded with Hotchkiss tubular control arms. The rear suspension
was also redone- the bushings, shocks sway bar and springs were
replaced. The bottom of the motor has an extra capacity anodized
oil pan and a high torque starter. A heavy duty scattershield
connects the motor to the upgraded 5-speed Tremec trans. Of course
the clutch and linkage were replaced. It has new trans mount. The
driveshaft and u-joints look new. It has it's original 12-bolt,
3.31 posi rear end. The custom exhaust system is stainless and has
fat pipes with an x-pipe. The fuel system was replaced including a
zinc tank, sending unit, straps and electric pump for the fuel
injection. All new brake system. Upgraded to disc at all four
wheels. New lines, hoses and e-brake cables. The floors look
perfectly clean and were sprayed in red exide primer and then clear
coated for protection and shine.
