A few weeks ago, I sold a 1970 Frame-Off Restored Corvette to a very nice gentleman from California and took two this car in trade.
Well ... as we were working on the deal ... he explained to me that this Rare 1947 Chevy Fleetline Aero Sedan was an older Resto-Mod build where no expense was spared. It had a Chevy 350 V8 and 350 Turbo Hydromatic Transmission.
Additionally .. he stated it had:
1. A Camaro Sub-Frame with Independent Front Suspension
2. Vintage A/C
3. Power Steering
4. Power Brakes
5. Tilt Column
6. Frenched in Tail Lights
7. Frenched in Antenna
8. Custom Gas Door
Honestly, I was amazed. I love late '40's Chevy Resto-Mods ... and ... I could not imagine all the time and $$$$$ it must have required to engineer and build this one.
Well ... when it arrived, I was genuinely pleased. It was everything he had represented it to be ... and ... more. The front end is a work of art with the grill and front bumper completely custom formed and molded. This is truly an incredible '47 Chevy Fleetline Areo Sedan Resto-Mod. The listing here … and … the story above were from our original listing in 2018 when we sold this vehicle the first time to a wonderful 70+ year old gentleman in South Florida.
Well … recently, his health began to deteriorate … so … he sold it to his brother. Now … his brother is a wonderful friend of FSD Hot Rod Ranch … and is actually ... our all time “Best Customer” having purchased 15 vehicles from FSD in the last 3 years. He loves to buy our cars … and also … loves to trade them back to us for a different one when he sees something coming in our web site that he likes. About a month ago … he saw a 67 Camaro Convertible … and another … trade issued. This car was only driven a few hundred miles since 2018 … and … the only changes that accrued were the addition of the “Dummy” search lights added to each side of windshield … and large fender skirts were purchased for the rear wheel wells … and painted to match.
