This beautifully restored 1966 Mustang convertible not only looks
amazing but has been treated to a few drive train updates to make
it a more dependable and enjoyable driver. A strong built 302
replaced the original 289 and has been backed up by an automatic
overdrive transmission. Power disc brakes were also installed to
give it more stopping power. The body on the car is arrow straight
with excellent seams and alignment and has been finished in it's
original color of Silver Blue. The mustang also received a new top,
originally it was white but a matching silver blue was added. The
interior has all been replaced with new blue and white Deluxe Pony
interior which was factory correct for this car. Other features
included an added GT package along with chrome GT wheels. A Rally
Pac was also added on the steering column but was not wired in. The
car runs and drives great with plenty of power and handles the road
with ease. With the addition of a stronger V8 and an overdrive
transmission this mustang makes cruising the open road a
breeze.
