mind-altering performance: Exploring the 9000-rpm redline and
pushing the GT3 through the high-speed corners in the mountains
outside Stuttgart was all it took to realize that the GT3 is one of
the most impressive cars on the planet when pushed hard. The
direct-injection, 3.8-liter flat six is visceral, flexible, and
extremely rewarding in the upper reaches of the tachometer. The
sound is addicting and the performance is truly staggering. Porsche
quotes a 0-60 mph time of only 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 195
mph. On the twisting and damp mountain roads, we saw an effortless
160 mph. Clearly, the Porsche 911 GT3 is a once-in-a-lifetime
driving experience. Offered here in striking and, on this model,
very rare Guards red is a special example of a special sports car.
Special. The GT3's 3.8 liter flat-six engine is rated at 475
horsepower and capable of 3.3-second 0-60 times. Special. While
Guards red has long been a favorite selection of Porsche buyers, of
the 2,191 GT3 cars sold in the U.S. between 2013 and 2016, only a
handful arrived on our shores in what some have labeled arrest me
red. The bravery of this car's owners over the years is, therefore,
noteworthy. That group has also been distinguished by the care
they've bestowed on the car. Carfax maintenance documentation shows
regular service visits to Porsche dealerships, and no work that
would signal possible abuse or extensive track use of the car.

finish-showcasing yellow ceramic-composite brake calipers and large
drilled brake rotors-are wrapped in Michelin performance 305/30/ZR
tires. Special. Inside, the all business layout of the GT3 (for
example, no backseats, not even the child-sized variety in lesser
911 models) is executed with flair. Guards red deviated stitching
throughout on leather dash, door trim, and seating surfaces adds
style. Seat belts are Guards red, too. Tasteful use of brushed
aluminum trim adds visual interest. The sport steering wheel
commands the driver's forward view, and the renowned 7-speed PDK
transmission shifter commands the console. Every surface is free of
virtually any sign of wear or damage of any sort. Special. Indeed,
every surface of the car, including the undercarriage, is clean,
