Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is excited to offer this sharp 1977
Ford Bronco 4X4! The first-generation Bronco is built upon a
chassis developed specifically for the model range, shared with no
other Ford or Lincoln-Mercury vehicle. Built on a 92-inch wheelbase
(sized between the CJ-5 and Scout; only an inch shorter than the
later CJ-7), the Bronco used box-section body-on-frame
construction. In contrast to the Twin I-Beams of larger Ford
trucks, the Bronco used radius arms to locate the coil-sprung front
axle, along with a lateral track bar, allowing for a 34-foot
turning circle, long wheel travel, and anti-dive geometry (useful
for snowplowing). A heavier-duty suspension system was an option,
along with air front springs. This lifted first-gen Bronco 4X4 is
set up to be the perfect beach cruiser, in its roadster
configuration without doors this vehicle is ready to enjoy the wind
in your hair all year long. This first-gen had a frame-off
restoration in 2015 and is equipped with a fiberglass body with
roll bars and a black bimini top. The Bronco is finished in a very
nice blue paint along with the interior and the floor being bed
lined for easy cleaning and durability. The interior is
complimented with nice black bucket seats, an ammo box center
console, and a very cool black diamond plate Foot-Locker(R) storage
box. The rebuilt 302 V8 purrs like a kitten mated to a C4 automatic
transmission. A modern aluminum radiator keeps things cool under
the hood. The Bronco 4X4 is equipped with 5 nice U.S.(R) aluminum
wheels with Grabber General(R) 33x10.50 R 15LT tires. Jump in and
cruise this Bronco down the road and you will see why this is the
perfect vehicle for a beach day, camping or anything outdoors. The
popularity of these brutes have sky-rocketed and this is your
chance to own this excellent example of an early Bronco. To view
