Gateway Classic Cars of Indianapolis is proud to present this 1993
Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 Indy Pace Car for sale! Back at the 93
Indianapolis 500, Emerson Fittipaldi took the checkered flag, but
his win may have been a bit overshadowed by the gaudy pace car that
year. This is one of the 645 replicas that were built and sold to
the public. And one of the 125 that were used in the race parade.
Actually the #3 car in production sequence off the assembly line.
Just looking at this car makes you want to grow a mullet, put on
some acid washed jeans, and jam out to some Def Leppard. Truly 90s
styling. Opting for the Indy 500 kit gave buyers a number of visual
upgrades, including two-tone black and white exterior paint and
flamboyant pink, turquoise, purple, yellow ribbon decals. Good luck
avoiding attention behind the wheel of this muscle machine. The
exterior decor also makes its way onto the seats of the car,
although the multi-colored ribbons only appear on the two front
chairs. While Chevy offered the Camaro with either a six- or
eight-cylinder engine under its hood, the pace car replica came
exclusively with the latter option. A 5.7L V8 with 275hp on tap.
38,000 actual miles on the clock. Additionally it has A/C, T-tops,
cruise control, power brakes, power steering, power locks, power
seats, power windows, power mirrors, aluminum wheels, and posi
traction. This 1993 Z/28 Camaro Pace Car is for sale in our
