This 1965 Chevrolet C10 is a half-ton, long-bed pickup that was sold new at Reeder Motor Company of Oak Ridge, Tennessee and was acquired this year from the granddaughter of its original owner. The truck is finished in green with a polished aluminum camper shell over a tan vinyl interior, and power is from a 230ci inline-six paired with a column-shifted three-speed manual gearbox. Work performed two years ago is said to have included a carburetor rebuild, a replacement fuel tank and lines, and a brake service. The truck rides on a 127″ wheelbase and has been repainted its current shade of green with a white grille and front bumper some time ago. A polished aluminum camper shell with a flip-up tailgate and sliding side windows is fitted, and the condition of the bed and interior of the camper is shown in the gallery. Screws are fitted on the doors where mirrors were previously mounted, and latches have been added to the outside of the tailgate. Corrosion is present on the bottoms of the doors and the rear bumper. The 15″ steel wheels have been painted to match the body and wear white hubcaps and Cooper Trendesetter SE thin whitewall tires. The braking system is said to have been overhauled in 2018. The cab features a tan vinyl bench seat with lap belts, along with a matching painted steel dash and doors. Black rubber mats line the foot wells, and corrosion is noted around the passenger door sill. No radio is fitted. A worn two-spoke steering wheel with a chrome horn button frames a horizontal sweep speedometer and a five-digit odometer that reads approximately 82k miles. The 230ci inline-six features a single carburetor and was factory-rated at 120 horsepower when new. A service in 2018 is said to have included a carburetor overhaul as well as replacement of the fuel lines and tank, fluids, and battery.
