This beautiful Porsche 911 was ordered through The Auto Gallery in
Woodland Hills, California. The original owner opted for Arctic
Silver metallic with Full Black leather interior. The Arctic Silver
Metallic added $825 to the base price of $88,900. Additional
options included Black Full Leather ($3,315), Power Seat Package
($1,550), Self-dimming Mirrors ($385), Heated Front Seats ($480),
19" Sport Design Wheels ($390), 3 Spoke Steering Wheel
Multi-function Leather ($740), Wheel Caps with colored crest
($185), Sport Chrono Package Plus ($920), Navigation for PCM
($2,070), Bose High-End Sound Package ($1,390), and Remote CD
Changer 6 Disc ($650). Once it arrived at the dealership and was
prepared for retail sale, the MSRP was a whopping $102,595.
Two (2) owner California car! The first owner took delivery on June
21, 2005, and kept the 911 until February 2017 when he sold it to a
good friend with 27,371 miles. The second owner, also a Southern
California resident, kept the 911 in pristine condition and has
only driven it 4,000 miles over the past 3 years. The second owner
loves the 911, but the time has come to purchase his next Porsche
which will be a 991 PDK Targa.
The Arctic Silver Metallic paint is 100% original with no faults or
imperfections, beautiful from all angles, and is complemented by a
perfect black leather interior. New Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 235 35
19 front, 295 30 19 rear were installed in 2018 at 28,541 miles. A
major service was done in June 2019 by Porsche of Irvine at 30,644
miles including new water pump, thermostat, drive belt, front brake
rotors, and brake pads; $3,786 was spent. With all services up to
date, everything functions properly in this 997 with a 6-cylinder
3.8-liter engine with 4 valves per cylinder, produces 355
horsepower. The smooth-shifting hydraulic 6-speed manual
transmission makes this Porsche a true joy to drive.
Thanks to the mild California weather, and 15 years of garage
storage, there isn't any warping or fading to the dash or interior.
The 997 version was from 2005 to 2011 and is a great driving car
(which went back to the feel of the 993), but they are getting hard
to find with low mileage. Complete with all books, service
receipts, Certificate of Authenticity, window sticker, clean Carfax
report and two keys, this 911 Carrera S Cabriolet is an exciting
opportunity for a Porsche enthusiast to get into a 997 for less
than half the price as it was new.
