Vehicle Description
1999 Corvette Convertible - more photos and video coming soon.
This is a gorgeous Navy Blue (code 28) Corvette. Light Oak interior
and top which are a rare and beautiful color combination. Of the
33,270 Corvettes produced in 1999, only 11,161 were Convertibles
and of those, only 520 were Navy Blue convertibles which is just
1.7%. Rare enough!
The LS1 5.7 Liter 345hp aluminum V8 engine up front is a piece of
art, states the National Corvette Museum. We agree. Specifications
include an aluminum block designed for stiffness, strength and low
mass, a special camshaft design for excellent engine breathing and
a 10.1:1 compression ratio which helps enhance engine power.
Horsepower? 345 at 5600 rpm. And, with the transmission in back -
it contributes to superb weight balance, a spacious interior, and
an unbelievably roomy trunk.
This body style recalls Vettes of an earlier era include a dramatic
"waterfall" effect as the exterior body color sweeps down between
the bucket seats, the sculpted "cove" through the front fenders and
doors, and of course those four round tail lamps.
Options include a 6 Speed transmission, sport seats, heads-up
display, dual zone A/C, CD, F45 ride control active handling and
fog lights.
This Corvette Convertible has the optional $3000 MAGNESIUM
WHEELS.
Original window sticker included. The price for this car was
$54,674 off the showroom. This is a well maintained Corvette owned
by a long time customer of ours.
