1965 FORD MUSTANG COBRA RESTOMOD A CODE (REAL GT) AUTOMATIC 1965
Ford Mustang Cobra Restomod. Original A code V8 car with a 302
cubic inch engine. This Mustang is in good running/driving
condition with lots of new parts. BODY: Paint is two tone Pepper
Gray Metallic with Jet Black. Paint is base coat clear cut and
polished to a high shine. Hood and tail panel stripes are painted
on not decals. Many new exterior parts and add ons: New Maier
Racing Boss 429 fiberglass hood scoop and side scoops, new front
and rear chrome bumpers, new billet Cobra gas cap, new stainless
steel bullet mirror, new Cobra exterior emblems. The wheels are
custom black US Mags Rambler 17x7 front 17x8 rear with brand new
Sumitomo tires, exterior lighting, turn signals and brake lights
all function properly. ? ENGINE: The engine is a late model 5.0
cubic inch performance V8 with no issues. Engine starts right up
and runs great. It has Edelbrock Performer aluminum 4 barrel intake
manifold and a brand new Quick Fuel Brawler 600CFM carburetor. New
starter, new Pertronix electronic ignition, aluminum water pump,
new MSD coil, new Edelbrock electric fuel pump, new Scott Drake
exhaust manifolds, new fabricated valve covers with crinkle finish,
new Cobra air cleaner, recently tuned up including plugs, wires,
cap and rotor, rebuilt alternator, new battery, recent oil change
and coolant flush. Exhaust is stock manifolds running into 2 1/4
inch pipe with new Flowmaster Super 10 mufflers with GT exhaust
trim and tips. Car has a nice deep rumble. Transmission is the
original C4 three speed automatic. Shifts good thru all gears no
issues. INTERIOR: The interior has been redone with new correct
1965 Mustang standard black seat upholstery, new dash pad, new
humphugger center console, new woodgrain Cobra steering wheel, new
headliner, new kick panels, new arm rests, new seat belts, new
carpet, new rubber floor mats, new turn signal switch, new heater
core. All interior electrical accessories are in working order: Air
conditioning blows cold, heater, wipers, horn, dome light, gauges
and dash illumination. ?BRAKES/SUSPENSION: Brakes are manual drum
front and rear. Front and rear shoes have been replaced with new
wheel cylinders and front brake hoses. Car brakes and rides nicely.
Mustang has stock power steering works in good working order. Stock
suspension with coil springs in front and leaf springs out back.
Bushings and ball joints are in good shape. Front and rear shocks
were replaced recently and are in good shape. Car rides nicely.
Trunk is clean no rust new trunk mat with spare cover. Check out
