Vehicle Description
STK 2795 1995 Chevrolet Impala SS
The Impala SS was a high-performance top-of-the-line Caprice
created by GM performance engineer Jon Moss. It utilized the 9C1
Police Option Package along with significant other upgrades. The
Impala SS was the last Impala with rear-wheel drive and made its
forebears proud with stout performance - mile times within one
second of that famous '4-speed, dual-quad, posi-traction 409' from
the early sixties. This 2-owner, garage-kept Impala SS is a 7th
generation stunner with an odometer reading of 27,500 that may very
well be correct. The exterior is original - a beautiful factory
coat of Ebony Black accented by SS logos and 17" SS alloy wheels
w/Nitto Performance radials. It is paired with an original gray
leather interior, also in excellent condition. (There are still
elements of the interior covered by plastic.) Comfort features
include A/C, power tinted windows, dual airbags, power locks, tilt
wheel, cruise control, power seats, power trunk release and Jenson
AM/FM/CD sound system. The Impala SS is powered by a 5.7-liter (350
cu in) LT-1 V8 making 260bhp and 330 lb/ft of torque. This is
basically the same engine that powered the Corvette of this
generation, but with cast iron heads and a slightly different cam
profile. The transmission is the GM 4L60E (w/trans cooler) that
transfers power to a posi-traction differential with stock 3.08:1
gears. Additional SS/9C1 suspension features incorporate a
sport-tuned suspension, beefy front/rear anti-roll bars, gas shocks
and 12" ABS four-wheel disc brakes. Recent upgrades include a new
fuel pump and mufflers. Come take a closer look at this luxury
performance Impala SS 'sleeper' that emulates a big Mercedes on the
street - you will not be disappointed. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS
