Have you ever wanted a sleek and sinister hot rod of your own?
Check out this black 1939 Chevrolet Master 85 Hot Rod Coupe at
MotoeXotica Classic Cars that is equipped with modern power and
cold air conditioning! Finished in black, the car?s paint and trim
are in very good order, the steel bodywork is straight, the engine
bay is very tidy and the chrome bumpers are in fine shape. This is
the first model year after the Diamond Crown Speedline of the past
two model years. The car sports a 112.25-inch wheelbase. This coupe
rolls on radials, size 165/80R15 in front and size 225/70R15 in
back. Each tire is mounted on an Eagle five-spoke alloy wheel. The
tires and wheels are all in good order. Under that hood is a 350
CID V-8 engine upgraded with performance headers and dual Weber 4
barrel carburetors. The motor is married to a three-speed automatic
transmission. Driver convenience features include Vintage
air-conditioning and a tilt column. Inside, the bucket seats are a
black and gray vinyl and in great shape. The black carpet is in
great shape, as is the neutral gray headliner. A late ?60/early?70s
Chevrolet three-spoke steering wheel faces the driver. The
dashboard has been upgraded to digital with ancillary gauges. A
Sony AM/FM stereo with CD player and Boston speakers completes the
interior. The Master Deluxe was now the JA, while the base model
was renamed the Master 85 (JB). Not for the first time or the last,
Chevrolets in 1939 borrowed styling inspiration from that year?s
Cadillac models. The grille and fenders provide a longer, lower
look. The major chassis change for 1939 was a new front suspension
with coil springs and A-arms. There was also improved, shockproof
steering and Tiptoe-matic Clutches. Competition to this Chevrolet
in 1939 included Ford?s Five-Window Coupe, Hudson?s Coupe and
Plymouth?s P8 De Luxe 6 Series. If you?re looking for a Chevy Coupe
Hot Rod that has modern power and conveniences, this hot rod might
