BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this Monte Carlo is in incredible
condition, as it has been stored indoors since it was new and
driven very sparingly. This car has rarely seen the light of day,
and the condition of the body shows it as it is nearly showroom
new!
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: GM vehicles of the 1970s weren't exactly
known for long-lasting paint, however this Monte Carlo looks
incredible in its original silver paint. Even the original dealer
sticker is intact! The paint still has the factory shine to it, and
is a testament to the cautious use this car saw over the years.
Overall, it appears to be all original paint and it really looks
great. The only defect is on the panel below the back window where
the paint has started to separate, as was common on these cars.
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The interior is in shocking factory
condition, like new! Due to indoor storage and infrequent use, it
both looks and smells like a new car inside. There is little to no
wear on any interior components, and the seats truly look almost as
if they have never been sat in. This may just be the best-preserved
one there is!
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: Under the hood, this car is as factory stock
as can be! Even the air cleaner ground strap is still in place!
This car is completely unmodified and all of the original underhood
stickers appear to be in place. It drives & runs great, and even
has mostly if not all original hoses and belts! The 400 V8 just
purrs.
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: The overall originality, and
overall the amazing condition of this well-preserved vehicle. It
truly is a museum quality show piece and must be seen in person to
believe the incredible condition. Plus it has some cool original
documentation!
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: The only glaring defect is the
paint separation near the trunk. .
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? This car is still on 3 of its its original
tires, which are great for show and display, but if you intend to
drive this car tire replacement would be in order. Additionally,
the A/C is not blowing cold.
WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? Whether you're looking to add
this car to your private collection, or want an unmolested and
preserved classic to cruise in on the weekends, this would be an
