This particular Mercedes-Benz 250SE was delivered new to its first owner in California. It would remain in this ownership until a few years ago when it was traded by the owner for a New Maybach.
It was acquired recently by the consignor and has since been put through a full service and inspection by a Mercedes-Benz mechanic. The car appears to be in very solid order and looks to be very much undisturbed. The repaint was done a number of years ago is very presentable. The brightwork appears to be original and shows extremely well. The leather upholstery is believed to be original and look spectacular. Canvas top looks like new. Runs and drives like it should.
Mercedes-Benz convertibles of this era are wonderful cars. They are characterized by their exemplary build quality. Their independent suspensions give them wonderful road manners, and fuel injection gives them great drivability. This hand-built Mercedes is surely a great car for a collection or as a wonderful driver for the enthusiast.
