AMAZING PATINA, FULL MECHANICAL RESTORATION, ORIGINAL ENGINE, UPGRADED TRANSMISSION AND MORE! This is one of the most original patina Army base trucks with super minimal rust that I have seen. Cosmetic
- Paint/Body: Super solid and all original steel body with a few minor dings and dents, a couple of very small rust spots. Really amazing original paint patina with a new gloss clear coat to preserve it. Cab corners have been repaired on the outside.
- Interior: Unmolested dash with original radio. Super sharp patina inside to match the original exterior. New door panels. Seat cover is like original with a small tear on the passenger side. Solid and rust free floor pans.
- Glass/Windows: All of the glass is in good original condition. Windows roll up and down easily.
- Trunk: New plywood bed and stain with new unpainted bed strips.
- Undercarriage: Solid and rust free frame rails and floor pans. A small amount of rust in the inner cab corners.
- Wheels/Tires: Original wheels, caps, and beauty rings. Newer matching radial tires.
Mechanical
- Drivetrain: Origianal 239 V8 starts easily and runs super strong. She has a really charming classic exhaust sound from the mufflers. The transmission has been upgraded to a 3 speed with overdrive (4-speed) that was recently rebuilt. This truck drives super smooth and is easy to steer straight. Shifts through all the gears smoothly and the clutch feels like new. Bushings, rubbers, brakes, and many other new parts under the truck for a nice driving restoration.
- Lights/Electrical: New wiring harness with all functional lights and gauges. Speedometer not hooked up.
- Brakes: Brakes are all new serviced and stop straight and strong.
