original, super clean, 1988 Chevrolet K5 Blazer 4x4 for
consideration. This truck was purchased new at Roger Shank
Chevrolet of the great city of Grand Rapids, MI. This truck resided
in Mears Michigan for seasonal use until year 2017 where it was
sold to a family friend and recent acquired by GR Auto Gallery.
This Blazer has never been driven in the winter and always kept
inside in clean and detailed condition. It features just 85573
miles since new and remains in amazing original condition including
paint.
This Blazer is powered by its 5.7 liter V8 engine, automatic
transmission with overdrive and Chevy's proven 4 wheel drive
system. This Blazer still retains its original factory two tone
paint, Light Mesa Brown Metallic and Black over tan interior. This
Blazer is highly optioned with the Silverado package including:
Power steering, power brakes, power windows, power windows, power
rear window, front bucket comfort seats, center storage console,
cruise control, air conditioning, factory aluminum wheels, original
factory stereo with cassette, sliding rear side glass, tilt,
cruise, optional back bar, removable hard top etc.
This Blazer presents itself in amazing original condition inside
and out. The original paint remains excellent, deep and glossy with
very few blemishes, the original chrome and trim are excellent, the
interior is beautiful original the frame and underside were Tuff
Coated at the dealer when purchased new and is wonderfully
preserved, and the engine bay is original, clean and tidy.
I personally drove this Blazer as an everyday driver for 3 days and
it is exceptional in all areas. Engine starts and runs excellent,
transmission shifts smooth, suspension is tight, air blows cold,
rear window works well, cruise control works and the CARFAX is
clean.
The vintage 4X4 market continues to be on fire and the K5 Blazer
leads the way. An original, wonderfully kept example as the one
offered here will not last long on our floor.
