Incredibly Original 1930 Cadillac V-16 Imperial Sedan 4330 with
Coachwork by Fleetwood: The Ultimate Luxury Car of its Era This
1930 Cadillac V-16 Imperial Sedan 4330 with Coachwork by Fleetwood
is an extremely original car just out of long term ownership and
storage. Two tone brown over tan with original tan interior. It's
not everyday that you find an unrestored original V-16 like this.
This is a rare and highly collectible piece of automotive history.
An important American car that's ready for straightforward
restoration. It has a nice straight body with good door and panel
fit. It comes complete and is very solid. It was last running about
6 months ago. The paint and chrome are dull from age and the
original glass discolored. We were also told that the paint may be
original as well. 1930 was the first year of production for the
iconic V16 Cadillac and it was considered the ultimate luxury car
of its era. Upon its introduction the V16 attracted rave reviews
from the press and huge public attention. For both its visual and
technical attributes the V16 itself is a thing of beauty and was
the world's first production sixteen-cylinder passenger car.
Conceived in the Roaring Twenties, these Leviathans made little
sense in the post-Wall Street Crash, Depression years of the early
1930s, despite which Cadillac had managed to sell in excess of
15,000 of them before the decade's end. A wonderful opportunity to
own a lovely and incredibly original Cadillac V-16 Imperial Sedan.
