Cincy Classic Cars is proud to share this very nice 1985 El Camino Conquista which is in nice overall condition. This El Camino features a nice re paint in blue two tone paint, an restored stock interior, and the original numbers matching drive line. This El Camino is very solid with great lines and gaps. This El Camino is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Blue two tone paint over Grey Cloth interior.
Exterior
The Blue exterior is in nice restored condition. This El Camino was repainted in two tone Conquista Blue paint scheme and looks great. The paint is in good overall condition and has a nice shine, good gloss, and is smooth to the touch. The underside is very solid and undercoated for protection. Both bumpers are in good overall condition. There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but noting was intentionally excluded from the photos. The tires are brand new with less than 50 miles on them and are sized 225/70 R14 and drive like new. The wheels are OEM originals and are in great overall shape and have no curb rash. The rear cargo compartment and spare tire storage area are both solid and clean and the original spare tire is still in place. The rear tail gate works properly and the bed of this truck was also repainted and its very solid with no dings or dents.
Interior
The Grey Cloth interior of this El Camino is in partly restored stock condition. The seat covers have been replaced with stock covers and are in like new condition with no major wear, stains, or seam splits and are very comfortable. The carpet was replaced as well and looks great with no major stains, rips, or holes. The original dash is in excellent condition with no cracks or fading and the gauges are crisp and clear. The original AM/FM cassette stereo works great in this El Camino and thankfully the dash has not been cut for a modern stereo. The original door panels are in great condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The headliner is in like new condition and was recently replaced. All interior lights and gauges work as they should outside of the clock. The horn, stereo, wipers, power windows, and blower motor on all speeds all work. This El Camino has factory air conditioning and all components remain in place but currently the system does not blow cold air.
Mechanical
This El Camino is in good mechanical condition and the original drive line is still in this truck. A new battery was installed. The original 305 engine runs well and the transmission shifts smoothly. A brand new HEI distributor was installed and proper timing was set. A new Edelbrock carb. was just installed and properly tuned by a trained mechanic. New air filter and new fuel filter were both just installed. We have driven this El Camino several times and it drives well, it does not run hot, rides tight, and is a true joy to drive. There are no loud rattles or annoying noises. The brakes do not pull and stop as they should. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. The exhaust is functional but shows its age. New rear shocks were added. This El Camino has been loved and meticulously cared for by its previous owners and the overall condition of the truck and the way it runs and drives validates that.
