was a great year for cars, and this 1951 Ford Business Coupe is
made even better with some modern amenities and custom touches.
This car has had a full restoration with detailed photos to prove
it. The exterior was stripped and some custom modifications were
performed. Shaved door handles, hood and trunk lid, frenched in
headlights and taillights, LED taillights, and a custom license
plate mount really set this car apart. Winter Mint Green paint was
then professionally sprayed to really give this car that 50s feel!
Big white wall tires wrap chrome hub caps and the fender skirts
look great! Lake pipes add just the right amount of chrome to go
along with the spears on the sides. The hood is secured with a
release inside and hidden hood pins for extra security. A Ford 302
V8 engine has been bored .030 over making it a 306. It is topped
with a Carter 600 CFM carburetor, headers and a mild cam. Vintage
Air A/C has been added and all the lines are hidden inside the
inner fender. This is a no expense spared build and special
attention was spent hiding all wiring, for an extra clean show
quality look. Hit the key fob and the door opens to reveal a roll
and tuck white vinyl interior with seat belts. Haneline gauges look
great and let you keep an eye on things under the hood. An Ididit
tilt steering column and a Lokar shifter look great and function
even better! This car is not only about killer good looks. It also
drives great! The seller recently made a trouble-free drive from
Florida to New Jersey, won 1 of 7 trophies given at a show of
3,000+ cars, and then drove home! To help with the drivability
Moser axles have been added along with Fat Man 2.5" drop spindles
and rack and pinion steering. A Ford C4 automatic transmission runs
to a Ford 8" rear end with 3.00 gears, making this a great highway
