a Ford F3 Pickup (VIN code 98RY). This Flathead V8 powered custom
truck has been converted to a half-ton truck?s suspension and
lowered with American Racing wheels. Finished in Maroon in with
silver interior, the truck?s paint and trim are in overall very
good order, with bodywork that is straight and stanced just right
with the tire, wheel and suspension combination. The example has
the smaller rear window. The engine bay is extremely tidy and the
dressed up Ford Flathead V8 looks gorgeous when the hood is popped.
The metal bumpers are painted black to contrast well with the
maroon. This truck rolls on GT Champiro VP1 radials in front, size
215/70R15 and BFGoodrich Radial T/As in back, size 275/60R15. Each
tire is mounted on an American Racing alloy wheel that is also
vented. The wheels are in excellent order while the tires are in
very good shape. Under the hood is a rebuilt 239 CID, 24-stud
Flathead V-8 engine with plenty of chrome accessories. The motor is
backed up by a heavy-duty, three-speed manual transmission with a
4.27:1 rear end. It has a 122-inch wheelbase and a 6,800 GVWR. This
truck sports an all-new interior, with a bench seat that has been
recovered in maroon vinyl, new floor mats and the contrasting
silver metal instrument panel is in excellent shape and sports a
full array of ancillary gauges but the temperature gauge,
speedometer and emergency brake are inoperable. A floor-mounted
shift and under-dash heater complete the interior. This lowered
Ford pickup looks great, sounds great and is ready for a new
