This 1965 Ford F100 4X4 is a very cool find. This truck spent its
life in Northern California and it is a very straight and
unmolested truck that has obviously been cared for an maintained.
This is a Factory 4x4 Stepside/Styleside Longbed. It is just a
sweet, original old truck. The body is in excellent condition and
we found no evidence of rust or rust repair anywhere on the body.
The truck has been repainted in what we think is Ford Dark Green
and the paint looks great! This F100 has the Dealer optioned Heavy
Duty Front and Rear Bumpers. The front bumper has a Dealer
installed PTO winch. The truck still has the original wood in the
bed and it is in great shape. The interior is also in very nice
condition. It is very original with the exception of the radio and
added gauges. All of the lights, gauges, and wipers are working. It
is just a cool original interior.
Mechanically this truck is awesome! It is a pleasure to drive this
truck. The engine is the 352 V8 and it is believed to be the
original engine. We were told it was rebuilt, but we did not
receive the receipts. We do think it has been rebuilt based on how
it runs, good power, and no smoke, funny noises or other red flags.
Under the hood is very stock in appearance. The transmission is the
np435 4 Speed Manual that shifts smooth. It has a DANA 24 Transfer
Case and the 4WD works as it should. Front Axle is a DANA 44 with
3.54 Gears and the Rear Axle is a Ford 9 Inch with 3.54 Gears and
it is a Limited Slip.
