classic and muscle car business. Lincoln's LS luxury sedan
represented an important step for American auto manufacturers that
were attempting to compete with European and Japanese imports.
Produced from 2000-2006, these cars returned to a rear-wheel drive
layout that offered superior weight distribution and driving
dynamics over the packaging efficiencies and cost savings of
front-wheel drive. The result was a buttoned-down sport/luxury
sedan with near 50/50 weight distribution, the Car of the Year
award, tremendous value, and industry-wide respect. Our loaded 2004
LS is a nice example of Lincoln's more for less philosophy.
Features and options include a 3.9L DOHC 32-valve V8, fully
independent front and rear suspension, power rack and pinion
steering, power 4-wheel vented disc brakes with ABS, power windows,
power seats, power pedal adjustment (!), power moonroof, power side
view mirrors, dual-zone air conditioning, 5-speed automatic
transmission with overdrive, tilt/telescopic steering, cruise
