Vehicle Description
STK 2771 1969 Ford Mustang Cobra Tribute
Automotive craftsmen hope to conceive a classic with each new clay
model. In 1969, the designers of the Mustang created one of the
meanest-looking muscle cars of the era. This beautifully restored
1969 Mustang Cobra tribute retains all of those visual attributes
plus substantial performance upgrades. The 2012 restoration
included a two-stage Black Cherry re-spray that is in outstanding
condition. A fully restored interior features high-back bucket
seats reupholstered in diamond pleated black/gold high-grade vinyl
w/Cobra embossing, center console, Mach I dash w/Dakota Digital
gauge cluster and Billet Specialties tilt-wheel. Other upgrades
include A/C, power tinted windows, power drivers seat, a KHE AM/FM
stereo system and power convertible top. The factory 302ci Windsor
was upgraded to a supercharged 4.6L DOHC Ford Modular engine
donated by a 2004 SVT Cobra Terminator - no small task. It is
matched to a Tremec 6-speed manual gearbox and posi-traction
differential with 3.73:1 gearing. This drivetrain package was
dynoed at 418bhp/453lb/ft of torque (Carolina Performance 'Dynojet'
sheets included). The chassis is equipped with power steering,
4-wheel power disc brakes and 17" Ford alloys w/Cooper performance
radials. A front suspension upgrade incorporates a Heidts SuperRide
II front suspension package w/adjustable coil-over shocks. A
Painless Wiring harness was installed and the Optima battery has
been relocated to the trunk. Finally, a binder of documentation
relating to the restoration is included in the sale. This Mustang
'Cobra' would have been the 'Boss Hoss' if it had been around when
muscle cars ruled the streets and it is an investment that will not
disappoint. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS"
