Please visit www.Survivor-Cars.com for additional photos,
information and a video. Take a look at this 1968 Chevrolet C10
pickup. This short bed truck has a cool custom look with a bright
yellow paint job, custom hood scoop with matte black treatment and
nice Asanti chrome wheels! 20" in the front and 22" wheels in the
rear fill the wheel wells nicely, but aren't overkill. Under the
hood rumbles a freshly rebuilt 350 CID V8 that has been bored .060
over and has a lot of bolt on goodies. An Edelbrock intake is
topped with a rebuilt Edelbrock carburetor and an MSD Blaster coil
provides the spark to an upgraded distributor. The engine is nicely
dressed with Offenhauser finned valve covers and a chrome air
cleaner. Headers running to dual exhaust have a great sound and let
the engine breathe. That power is sent to a 3-speed automatic
transmission and a 12-bolt rear end with a chrome differential
cover. The fuel cell under the bed feeds the engine via a Holley
electric fuel pump. Inside, bucket seats with a custom center
console make for a comfortable ride, and a B&M shifter is at
just the right height for easy shifting. An AM/FM/CD Player has
been installed with upgraded speakers, so you can crank up your
favorite songs. The bed has been coated with a protective spray-in
bedliner, which means you can actually use the bed of this truck!
This short bed C10 is a great truck to drive and show. With power
steering and power brakes, it is easy for anyone to get behind the
wheel and drive. This vehicle is eligible for an Extended Service
